One of my heroes: Dieter Moebius (1944-2015)

We always heard very nice things put on record by this German, Swiss born artist. Dieter Moebius, master of Krautrock and electronic music pioneer, now is somewhere, visiting a different world.

He passed away July, 20th and produced a lot, top quality electronic music with a pinch of avant-garde stuff, as we can confirm with an array of good albums like Cluster’s Zuckerzeit (1974), Sowiesoso (1976) and Grosses Wasser (1979).

 

 

 

After The Heat (1978), made with Brian Eno and Harmonia bandmate Hans-Joachim Roedelius, and Tonspuren (1983), a solo project, are favorites of this writer.
